How to Find Someone in FCI Jesup
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has an inmate roster that will include all the inmates in the FCI Jesup. You can view this roster right here.
Sending a Mail/Care Package
When an offender is in the FCI Jesup, they will not have privacy and that includes their mail as well. Inmates will have their mail opened before they are given it. Legal mail will also be opened, but only in the inmate’s presence.
Keep in mind that a correctional staff member will be reading everything you write to an inmate.
Sending Money
When it comes to sending or depositing money into the offenders account the FCI Jesup will give you three options. You can mail a money order to the address that the inmate gives you. Or, if the inmate needs the funds right away, it is best to use MoneyGram or Western Union.
Phone calls
In the FCI Jesup, they will allow their offenders to have access to the phones in the common areas between 7 am to 10 pm. During this time the offender will have the chance to use the phone to call their friends and family. All calls are monitored and limited to 15-minutes in length.
Please keep in mind that an inmate is only given 300 minutes of talk time to use per calendar month.
Visitation
If you would like to sit down and visit your loved one who is sitting behind bars in the FCI Jesup, you can visit them during the following days and hours:
Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays
10 am to 5 pm
Please keep in mind when visiting, if you are bringing someone under the age of 18, you will need to be their legal guardian or their parent. The person under the age of 18 will be required to stay with you the entire time. You will not be permitted to leave this person alone.
