The FMC Devens is also referred to as a minimum satellite prison camp in Ayer, Massachusetts.
The FMC Devens will be able to house just over 1189 offenders. These offenders here in the FMC Devens will be required to enroll in either educational programs or have a work assignment.

The offenders in the FMC Devens will allow all inmates who are not in the solitary confinement to have access to the telephones. The telephones are in the common areas. They will be available from 7 am to 10 pm.
The phones will cost money to use. The offender can purchase minutes from the commissary.
Visitation
When you want to visit an offender in the FMC Devens you will need to come to the facility on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. You can also visit an inmate on a federal observed holiday between 8 am to 3 pm.
The visitation room here at the FMC Devens can hold up to 570 people. When the room gets full, the first people in the room will be asked to leave to make room for the new visitors.
