How to Find Someone in Grant County Detention Center
If you are looking for information on the offender’s arrest or a police report, you will need to find out the arresting agency as the Grant County Detention Center will not have those documents.
However, the Grant County Detention Center can help you out with information about an inmate that they do have such as what they were booked on and things of that nature.
Sending a Mail/Care Package
All mail that either comes or goes from the Grant County Detention Center will be required to have a fully complete forwarding address on the envelope and a fully complete return address on the envelope as well.
If you fail to have your return address on the envelope, your letter will be sent back to the post office.

Sending Money
If you are looking to put money in the offender’s commissary account, you will need to bring cash (no money orders or checks will be accepted) to the Grant County Detention Center.
Phone calls
The Grant County Detention Center uses Reliance Telephone System as their phone service. However, this is not the only way an inmate can call home. If an inmate does not have the proper funds in their account, they can always call home collect as well.
However, most inmates opt to use the Reliance Telephone System as their main phone service as it can call mobile phones unlike making collect calls.
Visitation
All visitors before coming to the Grant County Detention Center will be required to be approved by the offender. The offender can have visits on Mondays during 2 pm to 4 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm.
You as a visitor will also be required to schedule your visitation appointment with the Grant County Detention Center by calling the phone number provided. You should make your appointments on the Saturday or Sunday before the Monday in which you are looking to visit.
