How to Find Someone in Summit County Jail

Visitation
The visitation schedule here at the Summit County Jail will solely depend on if the inmate is in the general population or if the inmate is in closed custody.
If the inmate is in the general population, they can have visits during certain times between Monday through Friday. If the inmate is in closed custody, they can only have visitors on Saturdays and Sundays.
However, you will be required to call the Summit County Jail to make your visitation appointment. If you do not have a visitation appointment, you will not be permitted to visit any inmates.
