Sending a Mail/Care Package

When you are corresponding with an inmate in the Cache Valley Youth Center, please make sure you have your return address on the envelope and address it to the inmate as well. You will need to have the inmate’s full name and their identification number on the envelope to ensure it will get to the correct person.

Phone calls

Inmates are permitted to make calls out to their loved ones. All calls will be 15-minutes long and they will be during the hours of 7 am to 10 pm.

Visitation

Inmates in the Cache Valley Youth Center will be able to have visitors.

If you are looking to visit a general population offender or an offender who is on outside detail, you can come on the weekends between the hours of 7:30 am to 1:45 pm.

If you are looking to visit an inmate in protective custody, you can visit on the first Saturday of the month between 7:30 am to 1:45 pm.

You will be required to be registered no later than 10 am to be able to visit an inmate during that day.

Please keep in mind, if you are visiting a segregation inmate, these visits will be no contact. These visits will be held on Thursdays and you must request an appointment no more than a week in advance.
